How To: Setup Outlook to send and receive e-mails
Set Up an Outlook XP/2003 E-Mail Account

Start Outlook, and on the Tools menu, click E-mail Accounts.

Select Add New Email Account, then click Next.

Select POP3, then click Next.

On the Internet E-mail Settings (POP3) page of the wizard, type your name as you want it to appear to everyone who gets e-mail from you and type your e-mail address. Under Server Information fill in the appropriate information below:
Smtp: mail.<your domain>
POP mail.<your domain>
Under Logon Information, type your FULL EMAIL ADDRESS and password.
Note: If you're concerned about break-ins to your e-mail, click to clear the check in the Remember Password box. You'll then be prompted for the password each time you send or retrieve mail.
Clear the check box for Logon using Secure Password Authentication.
Now Click on the “More Settings” button.

On the Internet e-mail settings screen, click on the “Advanced” tab at the top.

6. Change the Outgoing Server’s Port # from 25 to 4401
|

7. Click on the Outgoing Server Tab
Check the item “My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication. Also make sure the item “Use Same Settings as my incoming mail server” is selected

Click the OK Button to return to the e-mail account setup window.

Click Test Account Settings. The window should look as follows, if your receive an error message, make sure that all information is correct. Click Close.

Click Next> to return to the list of e-mail accounts. Delete any other e-mail accounts you are not using (your old e-mail account for example)
